Our TeamKeith Finch founded Rapid Haulage with one rigid tray top in 1977. By 1994, the fleet had grown to 10 trucks, and in 1998 Keith bought KRW Meat Carriers, a refrigerated transport company. In 2005 Rapid Haulage's refrigerated division expanded with the acquisition of Tiss and Haines Refrigerated Transport (now trading as Rapid Refrigerated). Established for over 30 years, with various refrigerated vehicles that deliver meat and other refrigerated products statewide and interstate daily. As Managing Director, Keith aims to continue steadily building the company, and diversify the services we offer without compromising the expertise and experience our customers require. Lauren Finch joined the team in March 2000 as a Junior Clerical Assistant. Now the Group Manager, she oversees the administration operations for the entire Rapid Group of companies. General Manager Carmine Del Giacco brought with him a wealth of knowledge and experience when he became part of the Rapid Group in 2013. Working closely Keith, Danny, Lauren, Carmine and Greg at the Largs Bay depot are Compliance Manager Jay Lennon, Fleet Managers Michael Wheeler and Enes Jukic, Warehouse Manager Alistair Jackman, Administration Manager Sally Colquist and Fleet Maintenance Manager Sam Hornby. The team at our Port Adelaide depot include Operations Manager Gary Emms, Warehouse Manager Dean Watson, and Administration Manager Nicole Smith. Each bring a wealth of knowledge and experience within the transport industry and are valuable additions to our team. The Rapid Group are highly motivated, efficient, and enthusiastic people who pride themselves on excelling at what they do. We are consistently implementing new and more efficient systems, policies and controls with regard to Occupational Health and Safety, and all facets of our services, from storage and distribution to accounts. Ongoing training in all aspects of transport operation and management is a high priority, to ensure that our services and the information we give are always up to date with industry advances. |
